At OMEGA Labs, we are empowering people to take control of their time and focus, using AI as a tool for reducing suffering and amplifying human potential. We're developing OMEGA Focus, an agency-maximizing operating system that prioritizes your tasks to ensure you're always focused on high-impact activities. We're also training any-to-any models – fully multimodal models which can understand, reason about, and generate any modality – to serve as the backbone of OMEGA Focus.

Previously, we were the AI brains behind WOMBO, where we built gen AI apps that got over 200M downloads and generated over 2 billion pieces of content.

We're building a world-class team of engineers, designers, and tinkerers to help us quickly iterate and experiment with the best models and frameworks for building AI assistants with memory, agentic abilities, and deep user context.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking AI Engineers who are:

• Thrifty and Gritty with Literature Review: Able to quickly dive into experiments described in research papers, spin up scripts to simulate them, and get hands-on with the data.

• Proactive and Iterative: Capable of generating numerous ideas and experiments, iterating rapidly, and embracing a fast-paced development cycle.

• Excellent Prompters: Good at communicating and eliciting information, which translates into effective prompting for AI. Your interview skills will reflect this ability.

Ideal Skills

• Passion for AGI: Insatiable curiosity for the latest open-source repos (MemGPT, Crew.AI, Autogen, Mixture of Agents, DSPy, autonomous SWE repos).

• Python Expertise: Strong knowledge of Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch.

• U/X Focus: Deep care for end-to-end user experience, including latency, customizability, and fault tolerance.

• Methodical Approach: Rigorous in thinking and judgment regarding hyperparameters, prompting techniques, and their impact on user outcomes.

• Documentation Skills: Excellent at documenting experiments, results, and ensuring reproducibility.

• Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and deployments on AWS, GCP, etc.

Bonus Skills

• Running Local Models: Basic familiarity with running models locally and setting up obscure open-source repos with limited documentation.
