Job Overview

The studio is seeking a meticulous Social Media Manager that also possesses the ability to move in a quick, proactive manner. Each team member at MW.S is expected to shift in and out of departments in a multidisciplinary manner while honing in on their specific skillset and interests.

The role would include, but is not limited to, work regarding: social media management, cross-channel publishing strategy, project awards submissions, analytics and reporting, & project management.

Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will be expected to work with every team across the studio — Strategy, Design, Direction, Motion, and Operations — and as such, is expected to be able to adapt communication styles to best suit the needs of the recipient.

A significant responsibility will be focused on working alongside the studio’s Creative and Operations teams to ensure a consistent and diversified visual and verbal content output across all MW.S Brand Channels, including, but not limited to: Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Vimeo, .com, editorial publications, and a wide variety of awards and recognition platforms.

All members of MW.S are innately creative, optimistic, passionate, and possess a desire to constantly improve. As the sole Social Media Manager, in addition to the attributes above, you are expected to consistently publish high-quality work with enormous attention to detail, all while representing the needs across studio departments.

Ultimately, this person is tasked with managing the facilitation of the studio’s collective output and outward facing brand appearance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A creative philosophy, vision, and approach that aligns with that of MW.S

  • 3+ Years of experience at a design studio, agency, or in-house brand team. As opposed to prioritizing specific role experience for this position, we’re instead hunting for a creative generalist with extraordinary work ethic and great taste

  • The ability to communicate and work with multiple teams to ensure the studio’s quality standard, while also meeting publishing deadlines.

  • The ability to remain highly organized across multiple projects with multiple versions of creative, both visual and verbal.

  • The ability to lead internal meetings, listen & respond to the needs of others.

  • Motivated by completing tasks in new and diversified ways

  • The ability to recognize and create solves for bottlenecks that continue to appear within processes

  • Desire to make work that is culturally relevant, thought-provoking, and slightly playful
