About the role

At Mirror, our mission is to leverage web3 technology to revolutionize the way people publish, consume, and share content online, particularly NFTs. We are a small and dedicated team with extensive experience in the web3 space, committed to creating world-class products that blend elegance and usability while prioritizing user sovereignty and decentralization. In order to expand our capabilities, we are looking to hire an experienced Product Designer who can work across our team’s most important and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Design distinct, thoughtful user interfaces and experiences across various product surfaces

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to successfully communicate design concepts

• Collaborate with engineering and product to research, design and ship new and improved products

• Work with other designers closely and offer feedback, collaboration, and mentorship

• Constantly identify and make improvements to the product

• Maintain and contribute to our design system

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer on consumer-facing applications

• A love of craft, demonstrating excellent visual design skills, with a deep understanding of typography, design principles, and aesthetics

• Experience designing with Figma

• Comfortable with all aspects of design process including research, wireframing, low and high-fidelity design and prototyping

• Proficiency in systems thinking and information architecture

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Experience managing multiple projects at the same time

• Comfortable working on complex problems in emerging technology, and have the ability to be adaptive in a rapidly changing environment

• Experience mentoring and inspiring a team of designers by providing constructive feedback and guidance

• A strong desire to design within the context of web3

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Ethereum and web3, and the nuances of foundational crypto concepts including wallets, tokens, smart contracts and trustless transactions

• Motion design and animation experience

• Front-end coding knowledge
