Fruitz is looking for a passionate and talented Lead Product Designer to improve its user experience. You like to interact with people, have a critical mind, a strategic vision, and you are at ease in operational matters. You will work in a small but very experienced engineering and product team (10-12 people). Fruitz’s user interface didn’t evolve much in the last 5 years.
You will have the freedom to explore modern visual styles and interactions and shape the new design rules of Fruitz for millions of users to use daily. Fruitz is now part of the Bumble family since February 2022. This will give you direct access to more than 500 experts in all the domains you can dream of in order to improve your skillset and deliver the best possible results.

🍭 Key accountabilities
As a Lead Product Designer, working closely with the Head of Design and another Product Designer, you will have the following tasks:

Design Fruitz’s core features and visual aspect on mobile

Craft a well thought and a well documented UX with all the necessary tools (customer journeys, prototypes, …)

Design the final UI and describe all design specifications to the engineering team

Collaborate closely with the engineering team

Develop the Product Design team processes

Push new ideas, backed by data information and your customer feedback analysis

Challenge the product aspect and its strategy and develop a product vision

Update the main visual assets and tone of the app

Mentor other designers

Have excellent prototyping skills: choice of tools, scenario, velocity

Know how to design clean interfaces with a great eye for delightful design

Master Figma and are familiar with component management

Have good benchmark habits and keep yourself updated about product and design trends

Are able to get feedback, and if you know how to build feedback

Are extremely well organised and autonomous. You know the balance between freedom of exploration and focusing on what matters most at a given time

Compensation: 72k+ depending on seniority + equity

Remote work: 100% remote, with some in-office events and off sites. (timezone +-3h from Paris). For legal reasons though, we currently only allow workers to be hired in locations where we, or Bumble, have offices: United Kingdom, Spain, France.
