Family Office is a small practice, just getting started. I've practiced independently on-and-off for years, and this year decided to formalize my practice and into a proper studio, bringing in collaborators whose work I admire.

It's paid off, and our client list continues to grow.

**The role**

Family Office is a design studio based in Lower Manhattan. We're a small team of four designing brand identities, user interfaces, and articulate company-changing strategy. We're searching for a Senior Brand Designer to join the team, either on a full-time or long-term freelance basis.

Our team of collaborators come from premier agencies — Collins, Porto Rocha, Koto, and more — and now practice independently, together. You would join our operation helping lead brand design projects.

The best designers, we think, are unique thinkers. Every agency says they're rooted in “strategy”, but that usually means a generic mission — “Make the world better.” — and generic values — “Be collaborative.” You'll be a great fit if you hate templatized design. You'll be an even better fit if you have a portfolio of work that breaks the norms of today's trends in design.

**Location**

We work from the ever lovely [Index Space](https://www.index-space.org/) in Chinatown, where we rent a handful of desks and pay for memberships for other collaborators. Though we're open to remote collaborators, we'd much prefer someone who enjoys being in the office and collaborating live.
