Empty was initially motivated by a personal goal to cut down on late night snacks. But through 100s of user conversations since our public launch, we've packed the app with features for intermittent fasters, religious fasters, or those who just want to experiment with their first fast to understand whether it's a useful practice for them.

As mobile app fanatics we strive to continue improving the feature set and performance of Empty while preserving a minimal and easy to understand interface.

### **Who we are**

We're a fully remote team of 2 working out of Chicago and Singapore.

We love to bring in friends and collaborators as needed and take quality (but not ourselves) seriously.

We're looking for a 3rd team member to join us at [Empty](https://www.emptyfasting.com/) to lead our GTM efforts - primarily through brand and social media.

### **The role**

This is a part-time role at a non-traditional company.

We've built Empty through a series of short-term, remote collaborations with talented people from around the world (Chicago, Singapore, New York, Toronto, Dublin) and look forward to adding another pin to our map. 📍🗺️

Our iOS app has been crafted with excruciating attention to detail and has already received tons of love. We were Product Hunt's Health & Fitness [Product of the Month](https://www.producthunt.com/posts/empty-fasting) and have earned 4.9 stars with overwhelmingly positive feedback on the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/empty-fasting/id6475213946?ign-itscg=30200&ign-itsct=apps_box_link).

### **You**

If you believe that \[1\] people deserve to use better products, and \[2\] small teams can do incredible things, this could be a very fun way to spend 10-20 hours per week. 🙂

We're not looking for a specific background. You might come from content creation, visual design, art, hospitality, memeing, modding, business development, math, teaching, sports... it doesn't really matter.

What's most important to us is working with someone who is excited by this specific opportunity and takes great pride in the quality of their work. The idea of having a blank slate to think about what a standout health & fitness brand looks like in 2024 sounds COOL to you.

### **Hiring process & contract renewal**

It will go down like this:

* $500 paid trial period (10 hours on a growth experiment of your choice)

* If there's a fit, you'll manage a budget for 1 month of growth experimentation (organic content, community building efforts, plugs, partnerships, product launches, campaigns, social media alts, stunts, challenges... whatever we decide on together)

* Think, plan, and grow the budget for month 2\*

* Repeat until we take all of Zero's users

\* this role will renew on a monthly basis through the end of June

### **Opportunity and compensation**

This is a high risk-reward opportunity for a creative individual who is excited about growing a brand at the earliest stage and wants to participate in the value they create.

The majority of your compensation will be via rev share (up to 20% of total monthly revenues with opportunities for long-term royalties).
