Who we are
We're a small team that believes providing access to better financial insights and tools improves people’s lives, so we’re taking money matters into our own hands.
Our product is a personal finance management app for iOS and Mac that people actually love using. Copilot takes advantage of machine learning to deliver powerful, hyper-personalized finance data insights to help users effortlessly understand and manage their spending, budgeting, and investing. We also use crowdsourced feedback to continuously improve the experience.
Apple recently named us as a finalist for the 2023 App Store Awards, and has named Copilot one of the best finance apps in the App Store. And we're only getting started!

The Position

Contribute to the overall product design roadmap and company direction working side-by-side with our CEO and fellow designers.

Contribute feature improvements that ship quickly, prioritizing quality and detail.

Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.

Contribute to our evolving product development process to ensure we are shipping work you are proud of, as often as possible.

Help with hiring and continuing to foster a strong design culture within the company.

Raise the bar for best-in-class software design, and collaborate with Engineering to build a well-crafted opinionated product.

Contribute to Figma/code design system.

This is a hybrid position based in New York City, you’ll be required to come into our office in Brooklyn at least 2 times a week along with the rest of the team. We work from home the rest of the week, but the office is always available.
Required Qualifications
-
7+ years of experience designing interactive consumer applications for iOS and the Web that you feel proud of.

Experience leading and/or managing a small (or big!) high-caliber design team.

Excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills. Excellent at performing the balancing act of opinionated software design and system thinking, while considering what users are asking for.

Proven track record of close collaboration with Engineering and Product to iterate on ideas and ship well-crafted products.

Good at planning but can quickly adapt as the needs and priorities change.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Passionate about our mission, and familiar with our product.

Based in NYC.
Bonus Points

A basic understanding of UIKit, Swift, SwiftUI, and/or React. Extra points if you can code (even if it’s something simple!).

Experience designing for iPad and Android is also a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary of $200,000 - $240,000
