Description

At Cerby, we believe security is everyone’s business. A key part of making this vision a reality is ensuring our product user experience leaves users excited, delighted, and with a sense of having gotten work done. The Product Designer plays a leading role in molding this user path for our global user base.

We are looking for a Product Design guru with Enterprise SaaS experience who will work with our design team, our advisors, and our product design customers to ensure the delivery of a beautiful and time-saving product. You will be accountable for capturing the voice of our customer personas and ensuring their needs and requirements are reflected in every pixel we place.

What you will do:

  • You will lead with a strong visual skill set, while also working across customer research, information architecture, and interaction design.

  • Innovate and rethink enterprise security software to create user experiences that are both friendly and incorporate consumer product aesthetics

  • Participate in overall product design vision for the Cerby product platform

  • Work with product and engineering to define and improve the product design process

  • Participate in customer sessions to gain direct insights from our design customers

  • Conduct user and product research to refine and improve our user and business personas, and design the best interaction and visual for our security product

  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity product screens, and prototypes based on your product research insights, existing data, business goals, and assessments from our technical team

  • Work with our product and engineering teams to evolve those product prototypes based on what is technically feasible

  • Work with our product and engineering teams to implement and bring to life those design prototypes

  • Evolve, contribute, and maintain the Cerby design system

What we are looking for:

  • A compelling portfolio of work that demonstrates high-quality Enterprise design work (or work of equal complexity), a knack for storytelling, and data-informed design thinking

  • Deep knowledge of and experience with UX and UI design for Enterprise SaaS products

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with a distributed team across 2+ time zones in North America

  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Suite

  • Well-versed and able to contribute to a broader product and strategic planning efforts

  • Ability to work across internal and external teams, regardless of whether the audience is technical, an executive, an IC, or some combination thereof

  • Ability to present and defend your design decisions; all your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)

  • Ability to work incrementally and gradually towards the ideal solution, capable of negotiating and making tradeoffs with different stakeholders

  • Experience in interaction design for consumer products is a plus

  • Experience with products in security or regulatory-heavy spaces is a plus
