We’re seeking an experienced Sr. Digital Designer to help our Creative Services team. This person will play a pivotal role in managing creative for a number of projects from ideation to launch. The position will work alongside both internal and external teams including Marketing, Social, Production, Audience Acquisition, and our Product teams. You’ll get a chance to work on a range of creative projects including digital ads, marketing campaigns, onsite signage, presentations, branding, podcast assets, logos, style guides, and more.

This role is initially for a 3-4 month contract while one of our Sr. Designers is out on paternity leave. That being said, we are interested in extending the contract for 12 months depending on the candidate and timing.

Designers are indeed leaders here at CBS Sports - they get the opportunity to witness the direct impact of their ideas on our consumers and see their creative vision brought to life. All alongside working with the amazing content, brands, and media that come with sports.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to develop a range of creative including digital ads, marketing campaigns, onsite signage, presentations, branding, podcast assets, logos, and style guides.

  • Prepare a range of production assets for our editorial and programming teams.

  • Communicate and present your work, aligning stakeholders and explaining your creative process.

  • Develop creative concepts around key events and critical audience moments.

  • Develop App Store creative around major sporting events.

  • Be autonomous and take full ownership of your work every step of the way.

  • Help stakeholders identify and articulate creative needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a strong portfolio that demonstrates a vast range of creative projects.

  • You have 3-5+ years of experience working on consumer-facing brands.

  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a laser focus on the details.

  • Strong knowledge of the adobe suite (Knowledge of Figma is a plus)

  • Very detail orientated with great organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, and hit deadlines all while requiring minimal supervision.

  • You have a solid visual design sense.

  • A passion for sports is always a plus!
