Introduce us to your team

The in-house Creative Team at Burrow is a small but mighty group of talents across brand design, UX/UI design, art direction, copywriting, and production. A lot of creative teams like to talk about being an "agency within a company" or something like that, but we don't: we are an integrated part of the larger marketing organization. That's important to us because we work super closely with our colleagues outside of Creative, both on marketing and advertising and on creating a stellar shopping experience for our customers.

What does your workplace look like?

We sit together in our office in Manhattan, on 27th at Broadway. The office is two floors, it's very bright, and because we create physical products, there are always things moving around, especially upstairs where the Product Team sits. Everyone has a standing desk and a half-height felt pinboard wall between the rows, so while it's not all that private, at the very least we have space to pin stuff up.

The entire company works remotely on Mondays and Fridays, but we do expect folks to come into the office in the middle of the week. The company also works remotely the week of Thanksgiving, the week between Christmas and the New Year, and everyone gets an additional 12 elective days to work remotely per year.

What are the biggest challenges facing your team?

Probably similar to a lot of teams: maintaining high quality standards while producing a lot of work on tight timelines, and then still finding time to chase big ideas or execute on a more enlightened vision. It's tough but it's possible!
