247 Type represents the type design work of Dustin Mattaio Mara, Peyton Todd, and Burke Smithers. Their typefaces and glyphs explore revivals, one-offs, experiments, and representations. The trio’s work — both together and as individuals — has been recognized and awarded by the ADC, TDC, and Communication Arts.

Each year the collective designs and releases a typeface, amongst the many individual and professional projects each member produces. This typeface represents the team's yearning to learn about type design and explore current trends in typography.
