My name is Rohan Tandon. I work across various mediums including— Product Design, Augmented-Reality (AR) development, and Illustration; focused on creating world-class digital experiences. I am deeply invested in the field of human-centered design, bridging the nuances of technology and behavioral science.

Work Experience
• Pioneered augmented reality interface design for spatial music creation and consumption across mobile, tablet, mixed reality headset apps; setting a new standard for platform engagement, accessibility, and operational efficiency by building from 0 to 1.
• Led the liaison for design and development of a wearable AI music device, made detailed 3D product renders, contributed to foundational design systems, and collaborated with stakeholders to visualize and refine the final product.
• Worked closely with engineers and product managers to iterate on design prototypes, address user feedback, and integrate new features; enhanced the overall user experience and aligned with evolving product goals.
• Designed, tested, introduced grocery wayfinding solutions by incorporating 2D maps and augmented reality, improved navigation efficiency and significantly enriched eCommerce for 14.5M+ digitally engaged shoppers.
• Developed and integrated comprehensive web, mobile, and in-person experiences by identifying user personas, customer journey maps, led to a 75% increase in customer satisfaction across 2000+ stores of Stop & Shop, Food Lion, GIANT, and Giant Food.
• Advocated for high-quality user experiences by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of design features across multiple retail brands, drove consistency throughout the customer journey.
• Conducted HCI research, literature reviews on the role of UX/UI in combating misinformation on social media; built and tested 5 prototypes of Community Notes (Birdwatch) by X (Twitter), achieved 80% success rate, iterated solutions based on user feedback.
• Authored a detailed research paper documenting findings and recommendations, presented it to stakeholders, contributed to ongoing research and development efforts to address misinformation on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.
• Contributed valuable insights on visual design and user psychology to advance the field of human-computer interaction.
• Implemented qualitative and quantitative analysis from usability studies to formulate 9 mixed-reality projects for spatial computing, and built an e-magazine website for “Future of Work in XR/VR/AR” exhibition.

• Led collaboration with Mayor Thomas P. Koch, city officials, PMs, designers to prototype and deploy augmented reality interactions for Quincy’s Presidents Trail project, generating impactful digital storytelling for 400,000+ visitors and residents.
