Who should create a Team?
Team profiles are best suited for small to medium (2 to 50) sized groups of people that directly work together. A few examples might include product or design teams within larger organizations, startups, or studios. We don't suggest trying to make team profiles for large organizations (e.g. all of Meta), but rather breaking them into smaller organizational functions.
How much do Teams cost?
Team profiles are free, with job listings starting at $99 a month, per listing. We also offer discounts to pre series–A startups, small to medium sized studios, and nonprofits. Please contact us to see if your team qualifies!
How do I create a team?

What are prompts?
We know how difficult it is to create content from scratch, so we designed prompts to make it easier for teams to create compelling, comprehensive profiles in no time! The prompts include questions ranging from “What type of music does your team listen to?” to the classic “Should designers code?”
How do I answer a prompt?
Switch to the About
tab in your Team Dashboard. After navigating to the About
tab, you will see three pre-selected prompts with blank Text
blocks. To edit a Text
block, hover over it and click the edit icon that pops up on the right-hand side. Hover over the Text
block and click Insert block
to add more content to your answers.
You may choose to change or add more prompts, re-arrange them, or delete unnecessary ones.
How do I add an image to a prompt?
Hover over an existing block and click Insert block
. You will be given the choice to select Photo and Video
. You will be prompted to choose a layout after which you can click the Add image
button to fill in the layout.
How do I add an embed to a prompt?
Hover over an existing block and click Insert block
. You will be given the choice to select Embed
. You’ll be able to choose between different platforms and add the appropriate url to insert there.
How do I show my Team member in a prompt?
Hover over an existing block and click Insert block
. You will be given the choice to select Members
. You’ll be able to choose between different layouts to display the members of your team.
How do I get my prompt featured on the Front Page of Read.cv?
We feature the most interesting answers to prompts on the Front Page of Read.cv. There's no guarantee that we will feature your prompt.
How do I add a member to my Team?
Navigate to the Members
tab of the Team Dashboard. After navigating to the members tab, click the Add members
button at the top right corner of the page and search for your teammates there. If you are adding someone who doesn't have a Read.cv profile you can invite them by email.
How do I make someone an admin on my Team?
Navigate to the Members
tab of the Team Dashboard and look for the member you'd like to make an admin. Click the dropdown on the right hand side of their name and choose Admin
. Alternatively, when adding new members to your Team, you can also select a preferred role for them there.
How do I remove someone from my Team?
Navigate to the Members
tab of the Team Dashboard and look for the member you'd like to remove. Click the dropdown on the right hand side of their name and choose Alumni
. Alumni
will not show up on your team page, but they are able to show your team as a past team on their profile.
You can fully delete Alumni
by clicking the dropdown and selecting Remove
. Once you do this they will no longer be able to display your team on their profile as a past team.
How do I create a job listing on for my Team?
Navigate to the Careers
tab in the team dashboard. Click the Add open role
button in the top right corner. This will open the Add position
creator . Once you’ve filled in all the details you will be able to save and view it on your profile.

Where will my job listing be posted?
Your job listing will be posted to your Team Profile, our job board, and on the Front Page of Read.cv once your page is published.

How do I preview my page before it is published?
Click the Preview
button On the left-hand side of your Team dashboard sidebar. Clicking this will let you preview your page before publishing it.
Will I be billed if my page is not published?
Nope! You will only be billed when you publish your page.
How do I un-publish my Team profile?
To un-publish your page navigate to the General
tab in the team dashboard and scroll down to the Settings
section under Values
. Click Unpublish page
.
How do I delete my Team profile?
Please contact support@read.cv to have your page permanently deleted.
