Work Experience

2016 — Now
Freelance at STUDIO ADA
London
  • Leading the discovery, design, and launch of platforms such as Plaster Magazine and The Artist Room, two new players in the art scene dedicated to providing a voice for young journalists and artists.

  • Focusing on enhancing functionality, driving revenue growth, and expanding cultural impact, utilising industry-standard techniques, including competitor analysis, wireframing, prototyping, and post-launch A/B testing, alongside personally developed processes to achieve project goals.

  • Designing promotional materials, including record flyers, posters, and brand assets, for musicians and music collectives in the UK, Sweden, and Australia, translating auditory art into visual representations, strengthening their brand, and connecting them with like-minded audiences in the experimental music scene.

2022 — 2024
London
  • Led 13 end-to-end projects and two long-term retainer projects in the healthcare, biotech, and finance sectors. My work spanned all phases of the project lifecycle, including discovery, wireframing, UI design, post-launch user testing, and refinements. Notable projects included the Clanwilliam Brand Portal, Astoriom, RXWeb, Dictate IT, and several other key names in global healthcare.

  • Championed the implementation of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards throughout the entire design and development process, ensuring compliance for both end-to-end and retainer projects. As a result, I helped ANGLE plc achieve a 100% A-level accessibility rating, with the majority of metrics reaching AA level, and a 93% pass rate for Lightbox accessibility.

  • Trained development teams on how to use assistive tools for accessibility testing and created customised testing guides tailored to internal and client needs.

  • Modernised legacy websites by transforming page template-based designs into cost-effective, modular systems based on user data and qualitative research. I assisted emerging healthcare companies, Konnect NET and HealthLink, by unifying templates from their two separate websites into a token-based module library. This approach reduced administrative costs and streamlined operations.

2017 — 2022
London
  • Designed user interfaces, mobile applications, and marketing materials for prominent brands in the luxury, premium, and hospitality sectors. Notable projects include collaborations with The Delaunay, Clive Christian, myGemma, and many others. These efforts contributed to positive revenue growth and helped establish their reputations in the competitive luxury market.

  • Promoted accessibility design and testing within the luxury sector, emphasising the need for greater focus on accessibility in an industry where it was often neglected.

  • Kept pace with technology trends by introducing software like ProtoPie and adopting symbol-based information architecture styles, which significantly improved the efficiency of our internal design and development processes.

  • Performed UX, CRO and accessibility audits on new and existing clients post-launch, forming strategies with the goal of pushing websites to convert.
