Projects

2022

5F Tours is an application to help Owner Operators maximize their income. It uses cutting-edge AI to link shipments from different parties together automatically. All while meeting the driver's preferences for how, when and where they want to work.

In our early 2022 benchmarks of 5F Tours effectiveness, an average driver on the platform makes 40% more than the rest of the market – with the most hard running drivers grossing over double the national average during the same period.

5F Tours also creates significant cost savings for shipper & broker - leading to a virtuous cycle to fix industry instability & cost inflation.

2021

5F is a platform to connect drivers directly with shippers at a lower cost, with higher pay for drivers. Here is what people are saying about it:

"Before COVID I had a fleet of about 8 trucks running in the field. I struggled to keep drivers as work died down. To make things worse my wife was diagnosed with cancer a few months back. Thankfully 5F came along, its ease of use and automated dispatch helps me balance taking care of my family and successfully running my business. I’ve been able to build back up to five tractors running and am making the same I did with 8 a few years ago”
– Martin, Owner Operator with Pacifico Oilfield Services

"We are able to add drivers. We are able to retain drivers. It’s been quite disruptive, but very effective."
– Halliburton CEO, Jeff Miller

2019

SANDi was our first application to fully automate supply chain. We targeted large shippers in the domestic energy sector and achieved 80% marketshare within that segment less than a year after launch.

SANDi served to eliminate a major cost driver in the sector: Non Productive Time due to stock outs. It also created hundreds of millions of dollars in additional margin due to a 66% improvement in Truck & Asset Utilization, 99% reduction in detention charges, 20% reduced trucking costs, and a 23% reduction in total landed cost (payload + logistics).

Side Projects

2014

Developed and publicized a crisis response website within hours of the January 2014 Charleston, WV chemical spill that left over 300,000 individuals without potable water. The website was picked up by NPR and local media and used to coordinate local relief efforts.
