About

Salutations! My name is Sixter (Six) and my craft is accessible product design. The bulk of my background lies in UI/UX and accessibility.

I'm currently a senior product designer @ Paramount, contributing to the CBS Sports app. My career goal has always been to build simple, elegant and inclusive digital solutions for people to enjoy and adopt into their lives. I have also been fortunate to learn front-end tech; this means I can propose solutions that take into consideration both design and development aspects with accuracy and speed.

I have a passion for rare sneakers, tattoos, soccer, hoodies, and learning more about a11y . I currently reside in NJ and am fluent in reading and writing spanish.

  • Working closely with our cross-functional team to develop and refine features. This includes user flows, screen flows, wireframes, visual designs, sketches, prototyping, and developer specs.

Senior Product Design for Soccer

Projects

2023

Solved the problem of a user wanting to only view specific content from a long list of video clips. This increased user engagement and time spent viewing game highlights.

2023

Helped solve the problem of having a peak at NFL or NBA drafts all from the home screen. Designed a elegant on brand reusable component that announced draft start and end times, provided reminders. This component also displayed current and next team picks, allowing a user to take a deeper dive into the draft, player profiles or team's war rooms.

2022

Lead the design efforts for a robust and reusable bracket experience. This feature will allow a user understand format and advancement of team's during soccer competitions. This can also be used for other sports during knockout or playoff rounds.

2020

This post COVID mental health website, is a product designed with interactive self help questions that allowed provider's to reach out to users. It also provided fast ways for patients to get the help the required.

My responsibilities included:

This responsive website was designed in partnership with other healthcare providers for medicare consumers within specific areas of New Jersey.

My responsibilities included:

  • Defining and understanding medicare user

  • Conducting product competitive analysis

  • Prototyping wireframes

  • Designing and refining inclusive UI

  • Front-end code reviews

  • Color and Icon selection and unify within Horizon sites

  • Designed of table and tab standardization

  • Led UX/UI design for dashboard and home screen

This project was started by the Digital Solutions team, and I pivoted and moved to Application Development to learn more about front-end technologies and this team was not involved in final development of this application.
