Work Experience
Working on an AI healthcare project to detect myocardial infarction by analyzing AP4-echocardiogram videos, integrating U-Net semantic segmentation and LSTM architectures. Exploring DL libraries like PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn etc.
Having a huge interest in parasitology, I was introduced to a Malaria project, exploring the genetic polymorphism of PkDBPaII of isolates in Malaysia.
Specialized in Product Photography/Videography, delivering compelling visuals while fostering strong client relationships. Notable collaborations include projects with local brands such as Sugarbelle and Softlove.
Acquired proficiency in specimen processing, specimen culture, microscopic examination, molecular testing, data documentation, etc, in five rotations: Virology, Clinical Bacteriology, Mycology, Tuberculosis & Molecular Imaging.

Developed a novel deep learning framework that integrates a U-Net architecture for segmenting left ventricular structures and wall contours, along with an LSTM model for classifying myocardial infarction using apical four-chamber echocardiogram videos. Trained and tested with frame-by-frame analysis, the model achieved moderate performance (Accuracy: 71.5%, AUC: 0.715) validated through 5-fold cross-validation. As a novel approach, these results provide a strong foundation for future research.

Developed a website interface for an unofficial gene analysis platform - "Sequence Space". It was created for user convenience to analyze palindromic sequences, change DNA to RNA etc.

Designed a conceptual precision agriculture system for managing weeds in Malaysian paddy fields. Using the Waterfall SDLC methodology, the project focused on requirement gathering, system design, and interface prototyping. Key deliverables included detailed documentation, Figma mockups, and system diagrams created in Lucidchart, emphasizing usability and sustainable agricultural practices.

Contributed to a Malaria research project focused on Plasmodium knowlesi, analyzing Malaysian isolates with varying parasitemia levels collected from 2019–2021 to investigate genetic polymorphisms in recent strains. Phylogenetic analysis revealed no novel genetic clustering of PkDBPαII isolates from recent years, indicating the genetic stability of this key malaria-causing parasite.
Side Projects
I undertook the task of producing two 30-second lifestyle videos that would effectively convey the brand's commitment to enhancing everyday comfort.
It's a privilege to join hands with them, a collaboration that blossomed after they recognized the quality of my previous photography endeavours.
My work spanned indoor and outdoor settings. My role blended artistry and commerce, employing photography and videography to convey Sugarbelle's cosmetics essence and versatility.
