Effective communication is a key part of employee experience. Or maybe you’re a communicator and part of job is to engage with the employees, where they are tired to getting endless communications all over the place. Viva Amplify is a tool that centralizes campaigns and communications in one place, and allows cross platform publishing to ensure the effectiveness and evaluates the engagement through data and analytics.

My job as a product designer on this brand new product team includes designing for features related to campaign management (obviously), workshopping and sprinting, supporting customer sessions and user research, making marketing moments, and collaborating across disciplines.

[SAP Analytics Cloud](https://www.youtube.com/watch?ab_channel=SAPData%26AnalyticsCloudSolutions&v=7bYo_EZlO4w) (SAC) is a predictive data analytics tool that enables businesses to create dynamic visualizations, helping them understand and answer questions with data-driven insights.

SAC Augmented BI covers various features related to data analytics, visualization, consumption and so forth. SAC Mobile is part of Augmented BI, providing a consumption-only analytics experience across different mobile platforms.

### 1. Search to Insight Story Level Filter

Story Level Filter is a feature that's designed for Search to Insight(S2I), an AI function that answers your questions by generating charts based off of your existing data models.

However, with so many models in the system, users would be overwhelmed with the results, hence less accurate charts they would get from S2I.

That's why we introduced a story level filter, that helps with this experience by adding detailed limits that filter out irrelevant information to user's search.

### 2. Mobile Onboarding Animations / Motion Graphic Design

Designed several onboarding animations when users launch their Android and iOS native apps.

### 3. Understanding SAC Mobile Design - SAP d-Kom Best Poster

I was able to make this poster, talking about mobile design with its differences and things to be aware of. This poster was presented at SAP d-Kom 2020 in Vancouver, and won the best poster of the year.

### 4. Mobile Browser Responsive Design

When mobile platform was launched in the first place, there was only an iOS native app for limited viewing functionalities. Later, with the new design and push for an Android app, the demand for a responsive browser design came up.

So under the supervision of the Mobile Lead Designer, I individually designed the new responsive mobile browser pages, from digital broad room, to geo map and their internal pages.

This design was a hybrid of iOS and Fiori Web design systems, hence a lot of deep thoughts were behind this optimization, for users to have a way better mobile viewing experience right within their browser instead of using any native apps.

### 6. Device Preview for iOS Optimization - Cross Platform

As we transitioned from Native iOS app to a responsive browser viewer, some old widgets were not supported, but we still wanted users to enable a better and more responsive viewing experience, hence I designed a whole flow across web and mobile to showcase how this optimization would be like and how it worked with the Device Preview feature on web.

### 7. Mobile Design System - SAC Fiorization

During my time designing for mobile, I also helped with creating the iOS design system when there was no standard design library for designers to use, and a lot of mobile components were made in-house, not defined by SAP Fiori Design System, so we call it SAC Fiorization.

### Day-to-day

Our team was Agile and I worked alongside product managers, engineers, design leads, and content writers to provide end-to-end solutions – from design vision to beyond delivery. My typical day to day was like:

* Dug through complex business analytics topics to distill and communicate base motivators

* Designed with different design systems for a mobile dash-boarding experience that goes across platforms

* Found innovative ways to translate and transform powerful analytic features from desktop to mobile devices

* Delivered low-fidelity wireframes to polished full specification mockups

* Pitched and presented design solutions to managers and stakeholders

* Drove user research and prototype testing with 10+ customers

* Developed research testing reports to identify insights and areas of interest
