About
As an industrial designer, I strive to build human-centered products that balance aesthetic and function. With over six years of experience in the field, I'm currently looking for opportunities where I can apply my skills in a team that values innovation and attention to detail.
Work Experience
As a designer in the Honeywell User Experience team (HUE), within the Airports division, I worked on the Visual Docking & Guidance Systems, runway lights, and other systems for airports, using human-centered processes.
Our team designed watches for specific customer segments. In addition to honing my product design skills, this job helped me develop the acumen to manage multiple stakeholders through the product journey.
My role as a designer spanned from creating design stories based on brand research and trend analysis, all the way to supporting market launch. I developed an acute knowledge of the manufacturing processes and color-material-finish (CMF) involved in watch-making.
As an intern in the product design department, I worked on creating distinct and innovative refrigerator door designs based on specific themes and inspiring stories.
Side Projects
My obsession with detail and love for craftsmanship has fueled this passion, and side business for over seven years. I find the process of bookbinding and paper-cutting highly meditative as it allows me to slow down the pace of reality for a while. I've recently also started to explore printmaking with linoleum blocks.
