Work Experience
Independently develop visual concepts and plan, prototype, design, and produce a variety of scalable brand, information, and promotional assets for surface, print, and digital mediums such as print and digital flyers, merchandise, type layout, social media assets, visual infographics, digital banners, and web design.
Liaise with clients across community and non-profit organizations to understand values, brand narratives, and graphic design needs and to obtain information such as intended message, content details, target audience, and budget.
Clients include: Vancouver Pride Society, The Polygon Gallery, Balancing Acts, The Black Arts Centre, Vancouver Black Library.
Design and develop experiential graphics, information tools, self-navigation, and communication materials for independent design-gallery retail, including in-store graphics, email marketing, storefront displays, posters, product information cards, custom labels, merchandising and sale signage, and print catalogs.
Developed guidelines for interaction patterns, and documentation, and designed user interface and user experience controls such as layout, icons, and data visualization for digital products that range products that range in actions from reporting to configuring designed for network operators and network architects.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure integrity of Nokia’s visual identity.
Design experiences, visual interactions, content, and emerging digital features from concept to delivery for clients including Tempo and Dapper Labs. Contributions include content and experience mapping, creating documentation, visual design, branding, and wireframing.
[Internship] Led the improvement and usability of Mentum QR’s cross-product, cross-platform digital retail products, and white-label solutions, ranging from 55” large-screen ordering kiosks, mobile ordering, to merchant-facing applications. Collaborated closely with software engineers to ensure design specifications were implemented to a high standard of polish.
Designed the new Mentum QR logo and created a distinctive style guide to be used for branding, social media, and marketing. Redesigned and oversaw the complete lifecycle of Mentum QR’s new website.
[Internship] Created an inventory of UI components for CoPilot AI’s new growth-focused design system and audited preceding design components for interaction and accessibility inconsistencies. Defined and documented design standards including UI style guides, visual strategies, brand standards, and color shared across with Marketing and Communication teams.
Collaborated cross-functionally with customer success and account management teams to analyze user feedback and identify user experience improvements, as well as with engineering to build and ship experiences.
Redesigned and built a suite of 25 institute-wide safety compliance courses for UBC’s online learning platform. Produced print materials and designed graphic assets for digital communication channels including the UBC website, email, and on-screen presentation.
Established a fresh visual direction for digital and print collateral safety materials while maintaining consistency with UBC’s institutional brand and identity.
