Work Experience
I'm responsible for orchestrating and educating design practices across the credit union and demonstrating the measurable impact of design on our organization and membership.
I co-lead the design team with our VP of Experience Design, synthesizing ideas, business opportunities, research, and creative vision into tangible products and services that deliver useful, and desirable outcomes for our members. I'm passionate about advocating for our members, grounding ideas in data by partnering with our research team to incorporate user insights and Ent's design principles throughout the creative process. Having a background in brand identity and art direction I also partner with our marketing team to enhance and transform Ent's visual brand language and expression.
Acting as the Principal Designer, I also work with product managers, developers, and other departments to deliver seamless, thoughtfully designed experiences that deepen members' engagement with Ent and help them improve their financial quality of life. The scope of work includes all facets of digital banking as well as other touchpoints such as in-person banking, telephone, and chat—plus employee-facing systems.
Responsible for mentorship to other designers & talent development, workflow optimization, and cross-departmental collaboration. I've spearheaded the creation of our team's "second brain" in Notion, established crucial interdepartmental relationships, and actively participate in multifunctional agile project teams. My efforts have resulted in the implementation of design systems, UX/UI standards, and documentation processes that ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables. Through these initiatives, I've fostered an environment of innovation, efficiency, and excellence, elevating both our team's capabilities and the overall user experience of our products.
Collaborating in user research and testing. Designing user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Delivering front-end design assets and software layout spec to multiple development teams. Performing UI/UX reviews. Collaborating with teams on design and development integration. Crafting responsive experiences. Applying design psychology and methodologies. Designing iOS and Android mobile apps. Designing a design system that includes UI components, pattern library, and terminology.
Developed & designed a new visual identity including style guide, a new website & communications manual. Oversaw & produced weekly design needs for 20+ ministries(clients) including print material, web ads, social media graphics, announcement slides and sermon series art. Provided key permanent sign solutions involving banners, external monument signs, digital wall prints and way-findings. Created platforms & systems to help the creative team effectively and efficiently hit deadlines. Worked alongside a multidisciplinary team and led volunteers to achieve quality results.
Worked closely with the Entrepreneur In Residence to create engaging marketing campaigns to attract passionate advocates to end extreme poverty. Redesigned all digital and print marketing collateral to match updated visual identity and increase user experience through website, emails, interactive PDFs, ebooks, print material, social media & stationary.
Produced an assortment of designs ranging from book covers, re-creating web ads and early logo design concepts under the supervision of design leads.
