I was the primary product designer for this product from it's inception—originally an offshoot of Find My iPhone internally known as "Find My Family"—through the iOS 7 redesign.
While I can't take credit for the rich corinthian leather visual design (shout out to Mischa McLachlan, Everaldo Coelho, and Mikio Inose, to name a few), I worked closely with engineering to implement one of the first apps to adopt iOS's theming API (while keeping our app under the 20MB limit at the time) .
I designed the geofence notification experience, which I used daily (pre-pandemic) to let my wife know when I'm coming home from work. This UI lives on within both the Find My and Reminders apps.
I also worked closely with the HI team at apple to bring location sharing to the Messages app (which shipped after I left).
