  • Increased loan volume by 100% while maintaining the same team size and processing time by reimagining the Borrower Application and Portal using medium-fidelity screens and high-fidelity prototypes, leveraging AI technology to create efficient processes. Partnered with Engineering and Marketing to streamline the loan application process, improving efficiency, delivering on brand promises and borrower conversion rates.

  • Accelerated design and development efficiency by creating Kinetic 2.0, a modernized design system that improved accessibility, enhanced documentation, and fostered collaboration with engineering. By standardizing components and workflows, Kinetic 2.0 reduced design inconsistencies and saved teams significant time, allowing them to focus on innovation rather than repetitive design tasks.

  • Improved mortgage workflows for usability and accessibility by using Kinetic to update Octane, Cardinal’s proprietary mortgage tool. Optimized navigation, refined interactions, and enhanced accessibility to ensure a seamless experience for loan officers saving hours of time daily.  Partnered with engineering to implement WCAG-compliant designs, reducing friction in loan processing and improving overall efficiency.

  • Led competitive analysis and market research to benchmark Cardinal’s mortgage technology against competitors, identifying gaps and opportunities in retail, consumer direct, and wholesale lending. Findings informed key product decisions, strengthening Cardinal’s market positioning and enhancing borrower and lender experiences.

  • Conducted borrower and stakeholder interviews to gather firsthand insights on user needs, pain points, and expectations. Synthesized findings into clear recommendations, shaping product strategy and ensuring design decisions aligned with business goals.

  • Developed a structured design roadmap outlining key milestones for the next 3, 6, and 12 months. Prioritized initiatives based on business impact, user research, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring design efforts remained strategic and aligned with company goals.

  • Saved designers 10% of their time by leading the creation of a design system, which included determining priority, conducting best practice research, and collaborating with each different product and development team for a SaaS company with three business units and eleven distinct product offerings.

  • Led comprehensive website redesign in Figma, aligning with new branding and improving UX to boost customer onboarding/retention; collaborated with the marketing team and implemented in Webflow, resulting in 25% increase in signups and 15% higher retention within three months.

  • Built a refreshed color palette that aligns closely with the company's new brand identity and is accessible to all users per WCAG accessibility standards by following the principles of color theory, learning about Perpetually Uniform Color, and working in LCH and OKLCH color spaces.

  • Designed a dashboard page for clients to view relevant information quickly, access critical data, update permissions, and request demos for any or all eleven Stagwell Marketing Cloud product offerings.

  • Collaborated closely with branding, product heads, and developers to create a style guide for any future or existing partners to follow. Designed conceptual product illustrations correctly representing the current and future SMC products, updated the SMC logo, and applied new spacing rules while aligning with the new brand identity.
