- Lay the foundation for the company's product and engineering team.
- Setup product and engineering workflow (product discovery, version control, CI/CD, knowledgebase, error and performance monitoring, automated testing).
- Build and maintain Laravel web apps. Includes upgrading Laravel to the latest version without disrupting client's operation and able to maintain business as usual.
- Draft and deploy solution architectures for various types of applications (includes but not limited to: spatial intelligence platform, crowdfunding platform).
- Plan and conduct training and upskilling sessions for junior developers and interns.

2017 — 2018
Web Developer at Slurp!
- Implemented a loyalty module for their POS system. Had zero ideas how a "real world" Laravel app is structured and deployed. This short gig gave me some ideas.
- Laravel and VueJS.
- Integrated a local payment gateway (Billplz) into the coupon purchasing workflow.
2014 — 2018
Lead Developer at Desa Kreativ
- Had my taste of freelancing gig(s).
- Managed client's requirements (and expectations).
- Also responsible for the coding side of things.
- Decided to jump into web app development (previously was mainly in mobile). Laravel started to gain popularity and decided to had a go with it (hint: 100% correct decision).
- Hybrid development framework also started to gain popularity due to smartphones being capable of rendering a decent performance. I picked Ionic for several client's project.
- Also served few clients who wanted a corporate website. Did it with good ol' Wordpress.
2013 — 2013
Software Engineer Intern at Terato Tech Sdn Bhd
- Worked on an iOS prototype to test out an idea of a social voting app. It was written in Objective-C.
2009 — 2011
Software R&D Engineer at Materialise
- Had a taste of working in a real world software company out of college (finally) and is delighted.
- Implemented algorithms (handed over by the engineers in Leuven) for a Windows desktop app. It was written in C++/MFC.
- Handled configuration management for the Malaysia branch using Python scripts and SVN.
- Achieved 100% and 95% ratio of bugs assigned fixed over the last respective 2 evaluation periods.
