Marketing & Communications Lead at Threads.

PR and marketing communications professional highly experienced with working in technology, corporate, and consumer verticals within both an agency (B2B, B2C clientele) and in-house environment (startups to large companies).

Successfully launched companies out of stealth through mid to late-stage funding announcements and other product updates.

Threads' Nationwide Billboard Campaign at Threads

Solely secured three nationwide digital billboards across the United States—Boston, Miami, and NYC—in the months of April and May. Led strategy for outcomes, alongside writing copy for each individual creative.

Featured on prominent and high-traffic areas, including Boston's South End I-90 and I-93, Miami downtown, Brickell, and Edgewater waterfronts during #MiamiTechWeek, and New York City's Times Square main "bowtie."

Within less than six months, grew our following on Twitter by 2x, further increasing our share of voice in the market and leading to achieving a p80 (80% chance) goal in regards to top-of-funnel signups for the product. And as a result, built a name for the Threads brand in the market alongside a highly-engaged audience, surpassing competitors in regards to social growth and engagement.

Helped to craft a brand narrative around a new AI implementation into the Threads product.

Collaborated on creative assets, language, and successfully secured earned media newsletter placements (with a total of ~200 subscribers in the AI market), mentions, and social media engagements to help drive awareness and top-of-funnel sign-ups.

Led Threads' waitlist and early access launch.

Strategized and executed a teaser campaign on social to drive interest, awareness, and signups. Created a strategy post-launch to develop a consistent brand, content, and personality for Threads, establishing share of voice in the work communications market.

Grew Twitter following by +5k followers, drove high-profile partnerships and reached p50 (50% chance of hitting) internal goal for top-of-funnel signups, leading to overall company growth.

With millions forced to work remotely, demand explodes for collapsible desks, video chat, and more. When the virus fades, experts expect the market to keep surging.

Inc. asked two founders to debate the merits and pitfalls of working from the couch.

Rousseau Kazi, CEO of Threads, discusses on Cheddar's broadcast why diversity sets companies up for success.
