Working with founders to establish strong product foundations through design and research. Current efforts include: design of identity system and product discovery for early startup focused on family communication and organization; longitudinal usability research investigating product opportunities for waitlisting software.
Product planning, development and implementation of the appointment scheduling surfaces including a redesign of the core scheduling page platform booking over 5 million appointments per week. Annual conversions grew from 190 million to over 250 million.
Led the product, design and engineering teams through new pandemic-related use cases including high-demand DMV, mass vaccination sites, and novel virtual class models. Developed long-term vision and growth strategy including integration into the larger Squarespace product suite. Total annual conversions grew from 62 to over 190 million appointments.
Managed fully-remote product team to find product market fit within key market segments; successfully launched principal client mobile app presence to facilitate on-the-go scheduling. Contributed to scheduled appointments growth of 41 to 62 million annually.
Helped usher 100% of Acuity Scheduling employees through acquisition to Squarespace.
Management and mentorship of remote-first UX design and research team. Led discovery and design of core feature improvements including business availability, time zones, resource management, appointment and class merchandising, flagship admin mobile app, and HIPAA compliance contributing to appointment volume growth from 4 to to 41 million annually.
Developed and launched the Goodbyn brand of sustainable lunchbox products focused on eliminating single-use waste. Led design implementation of the Goodbyn brand. Oversaw product development of over 50 products. Managed the supply chain from production to delivery in over 300 retail stores globally, including Whole Foods Market and Amazon.
Fostered a team of designers, writers and project managers implementing large-scale branding initiatives across web, print and environmental disciplines. Designed solutions for Illinois Tool Works, University of Chicago GSB, National Opinion Research Council, Lake Forest Hospital, and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Design planning and delivery of print, web and branding initiatives grounded in user research and human factors. Designed solutions for Nike, Western Union, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Kent College of Law, and Chicago’s Museum Campus.
