Independent Art Director in Taipei, Taiwan

About

I am an art director and designer whose work examines the intersection of clarity, purpose, and cultural context. Over the past decade, I have developed a practice centered on essentialist principles, where every decision is deliberate, and nothing exists without necessity. Each project is animated by a desire to create frameworks that are both exploratory and critical.

My work is a means to explore how design can create meaningful connections, whether through collaboration, systems, or individual gestures. Each project is treated as an inquiry into what is essential—an opportunity to pare down, to reframe, and to reconsider how design functions in the world.

Past and present clients include adidas, BYREDO, H. Lorenzo, Interscope Records, Lane Crawford, Oregon University of Health and Science, Microsoft, Nike, PEWC, RCA Records, Samsung, Song for The Mute, SSENSE, Yauatcha and more.

Subsystematics is a Melbourne-based skincare company founded by Aēsop alumni, Arj Selvam, that is on a mission to build a system to promote living well and maximizing human potential, through evidence-based skincare and carefully written resources.

As a design-driven brand, I have guided the art and design direction, exploring how evidence-based skincare can be translated into thoughtful design systems. This collaboration spans packaging, digital experiences, and brand communications, aligning technical precision with design storytelling to create a brand presence that feels both intentional and engaging.
