I'm driven to design user-centered digital products with clarity and thoughtfulness. With a solid nine years of experience, I have collaborated with organizations such as Rabobank, Freo, Hogeschool Utrecht, PO Raad, and ArtEZ, among others.
Projects
After two years of the pandemic, we, as designers, felt the need to come together to share inspiration, energy, and knowledge. As the initiator, organizer, and presenter, I was involved in setting up a new design event focused on UX, graphic design, and branding. During Five Talks, five renowned speakers had the opportunity to share inspiration and knowledge on the theme of this edition: typography.
Providing young people with the right information to make a study choice is a challenge for Hogeschool Utrecht, considering their limited attention span. Based on various research conducted by Valsplat, I have designed a solution that aligns with the world of gen Z.
School directors and administrators don't have time to manage and share various legal information. Therefore, I worked on a design concept to redesign the Mijn Vensters portal for the PO Raad. In this portal, school directors have important tasks such as publishing various data, conducting surveys, publishing school guides, and performing data analysis.
The challenge for the new loan application form of lender Freo was to make the process of applying for a personal loan as smooth as possible for users, without making it too easy to obtain a loan. The analysis revealed that the form and process imposed a significant cognitive load, causing many potential customers to abandon the application.
For Rabobank, managing, processing, and evaluating credit applications via Excel was no longer desirable. To improve this process, I designed an employee application for Rabobank. After thorough analyses of similar processes and practices within the bank, I developed a modular system that aligns with the way of working.
