About
Hi, I’m Regina. I’m a Product Designer with 8+ years of experience designing mobile apps, VR/MR and web experiences at startups and large tech companies.
I’ve been living in London for the past 5 years and currently at Meta designing experiences that help people represent their digital identity in Metaverse.
I love visual design and prototyping. I thrive in the teams that value design craft, innovation and getting work done while having fun.
I’m a self-taught designer and believe in life-long learning. I try to learn and improve my skills every day. Currently, I am exploring the world of 3D learning new tools and design fundamentals for this medium.
Work Experience
During my time at Avatars team I had a chance to closely partner with Facebook, WhatsApp and Messenger teams, solving the problem how people can express themselves with avatars across Meta family of apps.
Recently I moved to designing avatar experiences for Metaverse and embarked on the journey of designing for VR and mixed reality.
Shares is social and community-powered investing app for any investor to make trades, manage their portfolio, and discuss opportunities with friends and family.
I joined Shares as the second designer on the team right after they raised theirseed round. During my time there, the startup raised two rounds of funding totalling $90M, with investors including Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures and the Williams sisters.
I owned design for Social and Growth pillars designing key product features from 0 to 1 and working closely with the founding team to scale the product from MVP to the first 100k retail investors. Shortly after the launch we hit #2 in the Finance category on the UK App Store (ahead of Revolut, Monzo, PayPal) and #6 in the top charts (ahead of TikTok!).

I joined Bumble during the lockdown and celebrated the company’s IPO in 2020. During my year and a half at Bumble, I worked on numerous projects across multiple teams.
As a sole design owner for Revenue and Monetisation, I worked on the core paid features including Beeline, Bee Bets, and subscription plans.
After working on monetisation features, I also took on experimental 0 to 1 projects for the bottom-of-funnel including gamification and IRL dating.
I participated in two company hackathons and our team won first and second place in two years.
In my last half at the company, I led the visual refresh project that defined Bumble’s current look & feel. This project was a team effort with multiple stakeholders involved at different stages. I worked on the project as a Sr. Product Designer on the core team, and then led the implementation phase after being promoted to Lead PD.
I joined Revolut in 2018, back when the company had 300 employees, and the product design team was 6 people. I first worked in the Revolut Business team on expense management, integrations and business perks projects. I then moved to the Revolut Premium team to work on the features included in the Revolut Premium and Metal plans.
During my time at the company, I had the chance to lead the design of the launch of two new apps under the Revolut umbrella, 0 to 1: Business Mobile App and Revolut Junior. During the last year, my focus was on Revolut app redesign, while also contributing to the newly established Revolut design system for web and mobile.
I had the opportunity to help to scale the design team to 50+ members, establish design ops processes including transitioning the team from sketch to figma, establishing regular design rituals, and setting up a design interview pipeline.
