In the digital era, our identity is shaped or even confirmed through an endless stream of images, not only from human hands but also from machines. These images, taken without human intent or intervention, encapsulate moments often overlooked—capturing the essence of life at its most unguarded.
Non-human photography offers a unique point of view into our world, free from the human subjective bias. Each image, unchosen and captured at random, presents a genuine portrayal of modern humanity—a sincere reflection of life itself.
Through the Post-Humanism Archive, we delve into this uncharted territory, exploring photography devoid of human influence. In this archive lies the most objective portrayal of our existence, serving as an indisputable testament to human existence and life in general.

A generative voronoi animation, attempting to create a visual inspired by cellular growth, bacterias cultures, and bubbling water.
Inspired by Modi K.: Fermenting futures Journal of Posthumanism, 3, (2023).
A personal exercise which aims to transform real-time data from global cities into generative musical compositions, inspired by Brian Eno.
The algorithm takes into account city-specific data such as temperature, traffic/human presence, air pollution, time, wind speed and weather to synthesize sound in-browser, along with randomized factors and a technique heavily inspired by Brian Eno's album Discreet Music.
The UI was designed to mimick a music app where the user can choose a track from a playlist - in this case a list of cities. The background gradient is defined by pollution, temperature and changes over time. The user can tweak the tracks volume parameters, the heaviness of the delay effect and is given the option to play ambient noise tracks that are only available under defined weather conditions of the selected city.

This project was developed as part of the course “Digital design objects for fast prototyping” within the Master in Interaction Design at SUPSI.
