Work Experience
Working to create magical AI experiences for insurance.
Founded and launched InnerPearl, a company who helped therapists make more informed decisions on patients health using data and AI. Created and launched full EHR for therapists. Sunsetted in 2023 due to incentives in the industry not aligning.
Created the foundation for a new healthcare startup, currently in stealth. Used cutting edge technology to create a prototype for MVP.
First engineering hire post pivot at Zipdrug, a healthcare startup that was acquired by Anthem. I wore basically every hat available to me. Some of my experience included: full stack engineering, writing ETL pipelines, interfacing with patients and payer clients, and designing solutions for our internal and external stakeholders.
Projects
Joined a stealth psychedelic company to build out their initial infrastructure & product as a foundation as well as a product for future funding.
Setup: Medplum (FHIR!), Monorepo, Microservices, Turborepo, Typescript, Postgres, Weaviate, Kubernetes, Redis & BullMQ, Next.js, Node.
Created a fully featured EHR for therapists, including an integrated patient app written in React Native.
I was part of the team that built Zipdrug's in house CRM / EHR fusion that allowed their internal teams to reach out to Medicare patients. Built out phone integration, which supported over 15K calls every week.
Side Projects
Organizing a monthly meet up where we talk about the growing web framework Remix.
Education
Proud dropout after one year of exploring higher education. Left to join startup which had successful exit 3ish years later.
