Lead Product Designer in Berlin

About

With a decade of experience spanning various landscapes, I've journeyed from startups to corporate giants, touching on B2C products and internal tools, transitioning from an individual designer to leading multidisciplinary design teams.

I believe in the potential of co-creation and iterative processes within diverse teams. As a leader, I weave together human connections with a deep understanding of the product vision and business goals.

Today, my fascination lies in Regenerative Design, Planet-Centric Design and other systemic approaches that can help us iterate how we work together and how we build digital products.

Work Experience

2022 — Now
Berlin

I managed a team of designers and researchers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects for the buyer's experience (B2C). We held workshops to plan out exciting stuff for 2023, mixing user needs with business goals. I streamlined how Private Sellers add items, using image recognition with the Data Science Team to cut posting time by 25%. Also pitched adding eco-friendly ideas to our product, showing we can think big and green too!

2021 — Now
Remote

Applied user-centred design frameworks to help 120 students from Latin America discover economic models that are more sustainable, inclusive and resilient. Focused on community impact, social change and innovative education.

2019 — 2021
Buenos Aires

I led a remote team of 12 designers, guiding their career progression and fostering growth. I guided the product design of web apps and mobile applications for delivering 2 million packages daily across seven Latin American countries. By aligning business objectives, key performance indicators, user needs, and scalability goals, I developed a forward-looking strategy for Logistics products (B2B). I facilitated the design process and collaboration among engineers, product managers, and operations teams. Additionally, I strategically organized team expansion, overseeing the hiring and onboarding of new members in a fast-growing company.

2017 — 2019

Collaborated closely with the research team to conduct interviews, photo diaries, and fieldwork, capturing valuable insights. Translated these insights into actionable documentation and presented them to cross-functional teams to drive progress. Innovated by developing a specialized tool enabling efficient bulk edits of product listings, catering to large-scale sellers with extensive inventories. Led usability testing for the prototype, refining the user experience through iterative UI design and thorough follow-up during implementation.

UX Designer at Tril
Buenos Aires

As I was a sole designer, I explored the different roles: researching, copywriting, prototyping, and also setting up analytics tags so we could measure the outcome of our design decisions. Delivered the first MVP and successfully identified user needs that guided the following iterations.
