UX research scientist 🧪 turned designer 📐. My eclectic background allows me to be a transdisciplinary design engineer. I am currently a Master of Design Engineering candidate at Brown University + RISD, focusing on product design, ambient technologies, and immersive experiences.

Projects
Breadcrumb is a logging device that allows travelers to seamlessly document their journeys by capturing location- and audio-based memories.
Digital streaming platforms make sharing music feel impersonal.
Spotify, the #1 streaming platform, lacks an in-app share feature, leaving music sent via text/IM/etc easily forgotten.
A wearable device for groups of travelers to collectively experience their itinerary in a fun gamified format, promoting discovery and exploration of their destination.
Work Experience
Produced various visual, design, storytelling, video elements for clients and collaborative efforts in design, books, and education with a platform of 134k+ followers, 3.8M likes, and 458k+ monthly views.

- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to drive product strategy and to design simple and delightful experiences

Co-created ChatBot to increase successful appointment scheduling by 90%. Produced testing scripts and continuously evaluated scheduling systems ultimately reducing production errors by 28%.
Volunteering
Created in in 1994 and inspired by the legacy of Admiral Grace Murray Hopper, the AnitaB.org flagship event Grace Hopper Celebration brings the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront.

The Leeds Young Alumni Mentors Program connects sophomore students to recently graduated Leeds alumni. Students and mentors work through a series of milestones including self-assessments, curricular choices, career exploration, and professional skills development. Young Alumni Mentors prepare students to enter their junior year with a clear vision of their academic and professional direction, and provide the tools to hit the ground running!
Education
A partnership between RISD and Brown University, the Master of Arts in Design Engineering (MADE) is an intensive program that fosters innovation at the intersection of design and engineering. Collaborative ways of working are central to the program, as degree candidates work with a wide range of experts to envision alternative frameworks for addressing public health, education, climate change and more. In developing effective solutions through iterative making and testing, students express their ideas through the objects they create, towards an ultimate goal of improving lives.
