2022

($) Via acquisition of Text IQ in June 2021.

Complex interaction design for AI / ML-powered privacy, security, data breach, and data discovery applications in close cooperation with product management and one of the company's co-founders.

In addition to ideation in Whimsical and Figma lead extensive user research studies with prospective and current users, collected and analyzed feedback, and translated it into actionable design revisions.

Engaged software engineers in the design process to talk about implementation challenges and, possibly, make adjustments to the designs that would make the implementation easier without compromising on UX.

Participated in improvements to our design system that addressed missing components or made existing ones better.

Using artificial intelligence, our products help to partially automate the tedious and labor-intensive task of identifying and protecting sensitive information hidden in terabytes of data using intuitive UX to help human reviewers improve machine learning models with the goal of eventually fully automating the process.

Designing a groundbreaking B2B cybersecurity product from the ground up in close cooperation with the originator of the idea and one of the company's founders. Leveraging the Google Material Design system to save months of work on both the design and development sides.

Edgewise Networks is the industry’s first Zero Trust platform for hybrid cloud that stops attackers’ lateral movement and protects workloads. Only verified software communicates over approved network paths based on the secure identity of the communicating software, user, container, and host.

2015

($) Acquired by Google (9-figure)

Product design (both UX and visual) of a new set of web apps for an enterprise backup (copy data virtualization, to be precise) startup valued at over $1 Billion. The web apps were designed to replace existing desktop app that ran in Adobe Air and to extend its functionality to manage multiple servers while greatly improving the user experience, intuitiveness, and aesthetics.
