We’re looking for a Product Design Lead to play a key role in defining our product’s vision, creating intuitive user experiences, and building a design culture from the ground up. This role involves collaborating closely with the founder to shape our design strategy, conduct customer research, and bring fresh ideas that make our product easy and enjoyable to use. You should be comfortable working across the entire product lifecycle, approach design with user empathy, and have a strong drive to grow with the company.

As a Product Design Lead, you will be instrumental in influencing the company's direction, culture, and product success. This role requires a strategic, hands-on designer who thrives on tackling tough challenges, brings an entrepreneurial mindset, and values collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Shape the product’s design direction, aligning it with our business vision and product goals.

• Actively contribute to product roadmaps, bringing design-led thinking to drive business and product decisions.

• Build and evolve a cohesive design system that scales with our team and product.

• Collaborate directly with the founding team to ensure that design is an integral part of our product’s development process.

• Create a design culture that values innovation, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating a systematic approach to creating interactive prototypes, high fidelity mocks, and well-crafted end-to-end experiences.

• A self-starter who proactively pushes projects forward with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Explores solutions collaboratively through team brainstorms and pair-design.

• Skilled at facilitating discussions, aligning stakeholders, and driving projects to successful completion.

• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate design decisions clearly and present confidently to a variety of audiences.

• Based in NYC and available to work in the office twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
