What is Vesto?

Vesto is building the financial control center for companies with multi-entity operations.

As companies grow across multiple entities, banks, and countries, getting a view of basic financials, and making financial decisions becomes a convoluted mess… real-estate companies, holding companies, and any company with global operations routinely have hundreds, let alone dozens of legal entities, bank accounts, and banking relationships, making understanding how much cash you have or what’s going in and out of the business, a grueling manual task.

Vesto helps these companies connect, view, and soon control everything in one place.

We’re still in the early days which means you’ll help build new products as well as iterate and double down on our current product offering.

What you’ll do

• Build new APIs and features from the ground up — Starting from talking to our customers, through to designing the solution and implementing it.

• Scale our current system — Make an array of finance APIs work for us. In order to offer our Customers the best possible experience and integrations, we integrate with many APIs and plan on integrating with more. This means tying together APIs, webhooks, and designing scalable and robust jobs, functions, and APIs ourselves.

• Work directly with the CEO and other engineers to plan, iterate, and grow our product

We’ll love you if

• You like to read and write — you’re a clear communicator, you think hard about every problem and its solution from the user’s perspective

• You have a bias for shipping — your greatest joy is shipping something and a customer using it

  • At the same time, you know when and how to balance methodical design with speed and iteration

• You want to learn — Finance can be boring, but only if you’re not open to learning

  • It’s incredible what our customers are doing today to solve their own problems

  • We’re working in a hard space. That means hard to get right, very rewarding when we earn insights

• You like when things are in order and they work — Debugging hard technical challenges, improving the efficiency of our platform and overall experience of our users, and delivering robust features that you iterate on should be your aspiration

  • Server logs are neatly formatted and show `Successfully formatted, de-duplicated, and saved 1.32M transactions`

  • Sentry errors validate that your role-based permissions are working

  • Our customers are wowed when all their Accounts, Balances, and Transactions are beautifully integrated, thanks to your code

• You appreciate well designed, crafted, and beautiful things

• Django + NestJs dockerized backend, deployed on AWS

• Nextjs for the frontend (Typescript, Tailwind)

• A plethora of financial APIs
