Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in React and modern JavaScript, combined with a proven track record of building scalable web applications. This role offers the opportunity to shape our platform's architecture and mentor junior developers while working on cutting-edge educational technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and development of our front-end applications, establishing best practices and coding standards

  • Design and implement reusable component libraries and maintain comprehensive documentation

  • Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility

  • Collaborate with UX designers to transform wireframes and mockups into responsive, intuitive interfaces

  • Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services

  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews

  • Participate in technical decision-making and architectural planning

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent industry experience (5+ years)

  • Expert-level proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end development practices

  • Strong understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Context API, etc.)

  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright)

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining large-scale web applications

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems

  • Experience with performance optimization and web vitals

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with backend development (Node.js, Python, or similar)

  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Contributions to open-source projects

  • Experience with microservices architecture

  • Understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance
