Led the Frontend Engineering team at The Coral Project. During my time at Mozilla, I focused on Talk, an open source commenting platform now powering popular news media sites. Acquired by Vox Media in 2018.

The Coral Project is a unique collaboration between the Mozilla Foundation, The New York Times, and The Washington Post, funded by a grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

Wellbin is a healthcare startup focused on electronic health records using FHIR/HL7 standards.

At Wellbin.co, me and my team worked on a tool to visualize DICOM files (CT Scans, MRI, XRays, etc.) in the web and on the main web application to visualize lab studies.

Worked with Johnson & Johnson, PwC, Equinox, L'Oreal, RGA.com and others developing javascript web platforms that included backend and frontend engineering.
Technologies used: Node.js, Backbone.js, Angular.js, SASS, jQuery, Drupal 8, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.

Worked on Electronic Health Records Systems that included full-stack development in PHP, javascript and PL/SQL (Oracle). I worked on the Triage and Epicrisis projects that helped improve emergency room times.

React.js changed the way we build applications. This talk goes into the foundations of React and some frameworks built on top of this library, like Next.js. Also, covers concepts like: Single Page Application, Client Side Rendering and Server Side Rendering.
