About
Dedicated professional with a background in web design and project management, currently working as a Game Tester at Ubisoft. Known for spearheading impactful community-focused projects like Roseto, Profiteri, Paquet, and Ciorogârla Unita, which involved high-level management and collaboration with local institutions. Experienced in team leadership, volunteering, and creating innovative tools for web development, with a strong commitment to driving social and technological improvements.
Work Experience
Working at Ubisoft has helped me be more efficient with my time. I absorbed information as fast as possible with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Excel, Teams and Outlook. I have developed and contributed to internal tools to aid in game testing. It also has given me a good perspective on testing software and finding edge cases.
Working as a project manager I lead a small team of developers and also doubled as a back-end engineer, building a startup for hosting club parties and connecting people.
Working as an actor helped me manage my emotions and actions. It also has helped me collaborate better with others, and understand other people better from an emotional standpoint.
Projects
An organization focused on digitalization and helping the youth. In this time, I have organized 2 events collaborating with a high school to bring more awareness to the ERASMUS+ programme.
Profiteri was the parent organization for a project called Ciorogarla Unita. Profiteri housed the infrastructure for Ciorogarla Unita.
Solander was a project aimed at mapping the world with information not found on Google Maps. It was later closed due to lack of funding.
Ciorogarla Unita, now ciorogarla.eu.org, was a project aimed at creating a community platform for my hometown Ciorogarla, Romania in collaboration with the local authorities. This community project was later closed and recreated as ciorogarla.eu.org, an open-source project.
Volunteering
In this project, my team and I brought more awareness to the ERASMUS+ programme by introducing the students to turkish and romanian volunteers. We had fun presenting and introducing ourselves and paving the way for a year long worth of events involving the turkish volunteers.
In this Roseto project, my team and I have managed to engage with some students from "Pamfil Seicaru" High School and teach them about the benefits of volunteering and how to get into Youth Exchanges. Some of them even persued this idea and participated in Youth Exchanges.
Side Projects
Starting from scratch again and again when building a website often requires patience and after some time, it gets tiring. So I built DARST, a starter kit that includes all my little details and know-hows when building a website, gathered for over half a decade.
A website builder for people who want their website out as soon as possible, with a simple but powerful WYSIWYG editor, you get to write your website as simple as writing a document.
A fast web app shop built with Deno, Fresh and Tailwind as an experiment. It grew into a real project with multiple contributors and tens of web apps added.
