Projects
Developed a dynamic web application enabling users to showcase their favorite shoes in their collection, leveraging a tech stack including Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and React.js. Implemented user authentication via GitHub to enhance the user experience, allowing enthusiasts to build and manage their digital shoe collection seamlessly.
This is a web app that uses supabase to allow users to create, read, update, and/or delete 'posts' & comments. The Feed shows all the added posts, where the user can user can search or sort by popularity or time created each Post has a dedicated page that the user can navigate to by clicking on a post card in the feed, navigation is handled by react-router-dom.
This is a web app built using React.js and uses the Seatgeek API to showcase popular events across the United States. The user can search through events by their different performers and click any specific event to view more information about it such as the prices. The Recharts JS library helps chart the lowest prices of the top 20 most popular events. The site also uses react-router-dom to accomplish the navigation.
With the theme of resistance, I created a responsive website acting as a digital poster. I combined html/css with javascript to make an interactive site that speaks about the dangerous consequences of machismo and misogyny in Latin America.

This course provided hands-on experience in creating responsive, dynamic interfaces using React. I learned how to respond to complex user input, display real-world data with conditional rendering, and implement navigation using React Router. Additionally, I gained insight into how to connect data to a frontend with databases and personalize the user experience. The course culminated in a Capstone Project, where I created my own platform using the skills and knowledge gained throughout the course.
