I am currently undertaking a work experience placement at Magicka, with a paid part-time aspect. I am shadowing other employees to learn, and assisting them with tasks as well as carrying many out myself. Together, this allows me to have a greater understanding of how education technology operates in many different environments and to learn the technicalities of this infrastructure - as well as experience working within a local small business.

I have successfully migrated a complex organisation comprising of three separate businesses to Google Workspace, simplifying employees’ IT usage and unifying resources and access. I also assist in social media & marketing, designing posts for various platforms and advising on the best ways to utilise technology & the Internet for a small local business.

Digital Leaders at Devonport High School for Boys

I work day-to-day with both high-level members of staff at the school and students, assisting with all manner of technical queries and support. I also work with the IT manager in order to manage, monitor, and develop the network and other technical infrastructure, including Google Workspace.
Additionally, I help to lead the Digital Leader team, coordinating with members of staff and other students in order to run an effective scheme allowing students to assist teachers directly in-class and relieve stress from the IT team.
