I am currently undertaking A-Level courses in Business, Computer Science, and Politics.

As part of my A-Level Computer Science course, I am developing a comprehensive solution allowing those who listen to vinyl to experience the same informative statistics as commonly provided by streaming services - including a history of songs played, albums and artists played the most, and a digital screen to display the song currently playing on vinyl.

I have developed a solution allowing the PE department of the school to book automatic recordings of the astro pitch via a camera installed outside, using serverless functions in Google Cloud and integrating Google Forms, Sheets, Drive, and OBS — reducing IT workload and empowering PE students to watch back their work with ease.

I manage multiple Digital Signage displays, allowing notices to be displayed to staff, students, and visitors across the site. Through the use of serverless Google Cloud deployments, all displays automatically update their content reducing the workload for staff.

I developed and maintain a resilient Chrome Extension & admin interface to allow important messages to be shared with members of staff across the school, even if network issues occur such as loss of Internet connectivity.

I work day-to-day with both high-level members of staff at the school and students, assisting with all manner of technical queries and support. I also work with the IT manager in order to manage, monitor, and develop the network and other technical infrastructure, including Google Workspace.
Additionally, I help to lead the Digital Leader team, coordinating with members of staff and other students in order to run an effective scheme allowing students to assist teachers directly in-class and relieve stress from the IT team.

I have successfully migrated a complex organisation comprising of three separate businesses to Google Workspace, simplifying employees’ IT usage and unifying resources and access. I also assist in social media & marketing, designing posts for various platforms and advising on the best ways to utilise technology & the Internet for a small local business.

I am currently undertaking a work experience placement at Magicka, with a paid part-time aspect. I am shadowing other employees to learn, and assisting them with tasks as well as carrying many out myself. Together, this allows me to have a greater understanding of how education technology operates in many different environments and to learn the technicalities of this infrastructure - as well as experience working within a local small business.

As well as designing effective social media posts for both of these local businesses and their connected charity, I have designed and maintained websites for each of them - enabling them to connect with customers more easily, promote products, and encourage charitable fundraising.
