Work Experience
Considering new possibilities for discovery and engagement on Disney+ and Hulu.
Partnered with the founder to cultivate a distinct brand identity, develop artistic direction for collection imagery, and oversee updates to the Shopify platform.
Revitalized the company's wordmark in 2018, showcasing a modern and refined aesthetic.
Collaborated with a skilled design team, expanding creative capacity for clients in diverse sectors such as beauty, media, non-profit, tech, architecture, furniture, and food. Utilized strategic and creative problem-solving through comprehensive user and competitive research, shaping brand development and crafting visuals for audiences in both digital and physical spaces.
Managed studio operations, finance, and IT maintenance for the design practice while providing valuable support to client work. Contributions included brand strategy, naming, copywriting, proofreading, art & media buying, as well as coordinating and producing photoshoots.
Volunteering
A founding member and Culture + Community Co-Chair for The Melanin Collective, the Black Employee Resource Group (BERG) for the Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution (DMED) business unit.
- Developed, designed, and published the organization's community newsletter, For the Culture.
- Organized and promoted community events and engagement activities both virtually and IRL.
Through the Built By Girls Wave program, I mentored female high school students interested in careers in technology and design.
