Projects

2023

Part of a very small team of two engineers building a simple, collaborative way for teams to release their mobile applications.

2021

Planned, designed, and built Identity Access Management framework for the multiple API and web services at the company. Worked closely with multiple stakeholders across various teams and various levels in the organization to handle cross-team requirements and expectations.

2020

Worked with a large team of backend, frontend and mobile developers in planning, designing, and building the logistics system to handle last-mile delivery of the hyper-local grocery delivery company. Built a complex workflow orchestration and management system which was flexible and easy to extend to handle new business experiments. Advised the tech lead at the client in handling the leadership of the team.

2018

Helped build a set of services and workers to handle various incentive schemes and payouts for the drivers. Mentored and upskilled the team in Clojure and designing streaming architecture patterns.

2016

Built an allocation engine to match drivers and bookings written in Clojure handling more than 1000 orders per second.

2014

Helped build an experimentation platform for Staples to enable the running of multi-variate experiments for various products across the company.

The key properties of the system were low latency and high availability.

2013

Wrote a virtual phone system with a rich user interface and API. The application had a rich front end, built with AngularJS, and used Adhearsion, a voice application framework in Ruby. Worked in a team of 6 which comprised consultants from different companies.

2012

Worked on a suite of three web/mobile apps that formed the entire survey collection/aggregation/analysis infrastructure for Ashoka, a global non-profit. This was a team of five developers, working across different applications, written in Ruby on Rails and Titanium. Worked closely with the customer (from Ashoka), from the inception of the project till the final delivery and support. Built both a rich, backbone.js-based web frontend and mobile app for Android.

ClojureBridge is a beginner-friendly Clojure programming workshop for women. As a community initiative, the workshop is free of cost. Organized and taught at the workshop for three installments over the course of two years.

InClojure is India's annual Clojure and ClojureScript conference, and Asia'a first. Organized the conference two years in a row. Conducted the introductory Clojure workshop for the conference in 2020.
