The Plexuss network won startup investment funding from the Seattle Accelerator run by Microsoft Ventures in 2018, the first company in the higher-education space to do so.
Plexuss, based in Walnut Creek, Calif., is radically changing the way universities find and recruit students.
Plexuss, uses machine learning to teach a system what types of colleges students are interested in, and what types of students colleges are interested in.
Work Experience
When I joined Plexuss I made a promise to myself I would ride this "startup wave", and here we are today. Empowering more than 6M+ students in their college journey.
Shaping the overall user experience by understanding business requirements, identifying constraints, and developing successful design solutions. Working closely with other designers, engineers, data and analytics to translate high level product requirements into products that deliver compelling, satisfying user experiences.
Founding designer. Created promotional materials, trade booth signage, websites, mini sites for clients.
Shot for various clients and did behind the scenes work. Also edited footage and worked on web projects.
Volunteering
Worked to spread awareness of the efforts of the Yosemite Conservancy and took part in fundraising for the organization. Worked hands-on with visitors to encourage and educate on the conservation of the park.
