Introducing supporters!
Today we’re excited to introduce our supporter tier, a new way to unlock more great features on Read.cv and Posts, and help us build the future of the platform! Becoming a supporter starts at $6 per month, or $60 per year depending on how you'd like to pay.
We wanted to take a moment to introduce some of the new features we’re rolling out today as well as share some insight into our plans for the future.
What’s in the box
Becoming a supporter will immediately unlock premium features on Read.cv and Posts. Here's a quick run down of what you'll get.
Personal domains and insights
Our supporter tier will immediately unlock a themeable personal domain and profile analytics. This is a great way to share a premium version of your profile without the Read.cv navigation, while being able to keep tabs on how many people are visiting your page. You can find these new features under Manage account > Personal domain.
Private bookmarks
Since launching Posts earlier this year one of the most sought after features has been the ability to save all the great content being shared on the platform. Supporters will immediately unlock private bookmarks on Posts web and mobile. To add a bookmark tap the … button on any post and tap the Add bookmark option. To view your bookmarks on web you’ll find a new Bookmarks icon in the sidebar, while on mobile you’ll find bookmarks under the … menu on your Profile.
20% off job listings
Supporters will automatically receive a 20% discount (-$20) on any new job listing they create, making this a great subscription for hiring managers or recruiters who plan to make use of our job board!
Supporter badge
Of course, you’ll be able to show off your shiny new supporter status with a new badge that appears on your Read.cv and Posts profile.

We chose to name this membership the supporter tier, so we'd be remiss not to mention what it is that you're supporting.
Read.cv is developed by a 3 person team. Shen is based in Vancouver, Mehdi in Los Angeles, and Andy in Berkeley. We believe operating as a small team is one of our strongest characteristics and has set us up well to build a lasting and sustainable business. Although we raised a small amount of capital to get us off the ground, we have no board and act independently. Becoming user supported would allow us to continue building Read.cv and Posts in a way that aligns with the values of our community, without external pressure to grow exponentially or artificially.
What’s next for supporters
We couldn’t be more excited about our roadmap, especially what’s next for supporters. We’re currently exploring ways to make writing a more core part of the experience on Read.cv, along with an API to transform your profile into a lightweight CMS for your website.
The web we want to build for is made up of not one monolithic platform, but many vibrant communities with their own centers of gravity. Your support ensures we can continue building our corner of that ecosystem for years to come.
