Landforms – the disappearance of the TC-48 at ERACOM

This interactive interface realized within the framework of my diploma work contains maps and animated infographics. The approach aims at the design of information and the reconstruction of the events related to the disappearance of a military aircraft of the Argentinean air force in the 60s.

The support has different sections, each of which contains an animated infographic. Simply launch the videos to immerse yourself in the mystery of the disappearance of the TC-48.

The choice of the title, Landforms, comes from both the earth's altitude levels (hills, mountains, etc.) reminding us of the topography and the metaphorical meaning of the term, i.e. the obstacles, and the horizon, which symbolizes the destiny of the TC-48, made invisible by these landforms.

One of the challenges of this project was to get closer to the viewer, to understand how to make him see the complexity and the multiplicity of facets of a photographic image. This ideal workshop is the result of both a search for originality which had to make its way through the constraints and solutions to the formatting problems that arise during the design of a visual.
