## **The Journey.**

> As a Business Administration student, I felt the need to seize every available opportunity. Especially because I didn't want to constantly rely on my parents for financial support. So, I started selling premium apps in January 2023, despite knowing it was a competitive field.
>
> Initially, I offered free trials. I provided free access to the app for a day, and in return, customers were asked to confirm if the app was usable as proof that my business was trustworthy. In the first week, I managed to get over 80 orders.
>
> Running a business of course has its challenges. I had to deal with different types of customers and had some issues with suppliers. But from that experiences, I made improvements, such as collaborating with reliable suppliers and providing clear communication to customers.
>
> As a result, many customers who kept ordering from me, even without active promotion. One of my biggest achievements was using Twitter's verified features to boost my promotions, which once led to 50 orders in a single day.
>
> This experience taught me that product quality and good customer relationships are crucial in business. I'll use these lessons to improve my current business and upcoming projects.

## **Let's take a look to my precious-small business!**

I focus selling on Twitter for its direct communication and real-time interactions. I offer 11 premium apps, mainly Video-on-Demand (VOD), with 6 payment methods, including e-wallets, bank transfers, and QR codes.

I facilitate for making purchases through WhatsApp via a bio link. I also provide a link to view testimonials for trust-building.

Before doing transaction, I always request for permission to provide app details and reminders to customers, aiming to prevent misunderstandings, especially among first-time premium app buyers. Once the customers agree, I will send the payment details.

Providing estimated processing times is essential, as it helps customers understand the waiting period and allows me as the seller to proceed the orders without any rush.

I often receive questions from customers like, ***'Is it okay to ask for help if needed?'*** To address this, I've included a closing statement in my transactions with three main points:

1. Expressing gratitude

2. Assuring customers they can always ask for assistance if they face any challenges

3. Encouraging repeat purchases

This approach helps build strong customer relationships and ensures a comfortable transaction experience.

## **Role & Responsibilities**

As financial bureau staff, I undertook three key responsibilities:

1. **Assisting in Financial Management**: I provided financial support to one department and one bureau, overseeing a total of 13 work programs. This assistance included allocating funds, preparing disbursement documents, submitting fund requests, and assisting with financial reporting.

2. **Mega Event Treasurer**: As the treasurer for the "Orasi", a student admission program, my role was establishing SOPs, recording transactions, managing budgets, processing disbursements, and generating financial reports.

3. **Investment Management**: I was responsible for managing the organization's internal funds through mutual fund investments.

## **Achievements & Contributions**

* **Financial Management Assistance:** Facilitated the absorption of 85% of the dean's allocated funds for work programs, ensuring effective financial utilization.

* **Mega Event Success:** As "Orasi" program treasurer, I successfully collected 98% of internal committee funds from 182 committees, collaborating with 8 treasurers from each divisions. This was the primary funding source for the event.

* **Investment Success:** Gained a successful 2.05% return on investment.

Another Finance Journey!

## **Overview**

> Course de Beaute is a project created by 11 business administration students in the form of online makeup class to apply marketing management skills, including market research, partnerships, customer management, project management, social media development, and etc.

## **What Did I Learn?**

Through this project, I was entrusted with the role of being **team** **leader**. It wasn't an easy task initially as I didn't have much experience on it. However, from this project, I learned several key things, including how to:

• Oversaw the project's advancement to match the established objectives.

• Ensured the active involvement of team members in all activities.

• Led and initiated productive discussions.

• Ensured team members have a comprehensive understanding of the project thoroughly.

Aside from being the leader, I also contributed to maintain the quality of project outputs by **proofreading** and **editing magazine content**.

### **Planning**

1. **Selecting the type of project:** This is crucial, as each group must have a distinct type of activity to ensure that the project being pursued does not overlap with other groups. After discussions, the decision was made to conduct an **online makeup class**.

2. **Market research:** Conducted market research with 50 respondents to understand our target audience's needs and created a Value Proposition Canvas which include value proposition and customer segment.

3. **Outline project:** To provide a broad overview of the project, a Business Model Canvas was created.

4. **Approval:** Once everything was in place, the next step was to submit a proposal to the lecturer. This part wasn't easy, as our team had to undergo the revisions. After discussions and corrections, our project finally received an approval.

5. **Jobdesc allocation:** Job descriptions were divided into roles such as leader, secretary, treasurer, event division, content division, public relations division, and creative & design division.

### **Marketing Management**

* **Social Media Management**

  We've established dedicated social media accounts (Instagram & Twitter) to share beauty-related information, makeup class preparation tips, and interactive content.

* **Partnerships**

  We have partnered with external parties including makeup instructors, an MC, media partners, and sponsor.

* **Customer Relationships Management**

  We have created Instagram content such as Q&A sessions and games, as well as a total of 3 WhatsApp groups to facilitate participants in sharing their interests.

### **Execution**

Our online makeup class was conducted through Zoom Meeting and consisted of various segments, including:

* Opening

* Beauty sharing session

* Makeup class

* Games

* Awarding

* Closing

Furthermore, we organized a post-event makeup competition where participants could showcase their skills acquired during the makeup class.

### **Results**

Amidst the new normal conditions during the pandemic, the project achieved several milestones:

* Hosted the event with over 270 participants from 70+ cities across Indonesia.

* Collaborated with **Amallya Anissha**, a beauty content creator with **19.3k+ followers.**

* Established a sponsorship with **Purbasari**.

* Partnered with **17 media partners** to promote the event, resulting in **over 600 registrations.**

* Received positive feedback from participants, with **70.5%** rating the event as **excellent**, and **86%** showing **interest** in future events.

* Accomplished and delivered **3 project outputs** in the form of presentation, magazine, and video.

Based on the existing Instagram feeds, I created a variety of Instagram content suggestion, including product promotions, games, exclusive offers, quotes, mini Wikipedia-style posts, tips and tricks, and style inspiration.

I chose a soft-selling approach to encourage engagement between sellers and buyers while preserving the business's distinctive identity, which centers around selling **batik leather shoes**.

A unique addition to the content I proposed was the **'Sedia'** or **Sebootik Pedia** section, offering captivating insights into the products and the business.

For the second assignment, I was tasked to create captions for two Instagram contents that had been previously created. Here are the results!

**Objective**: The caption aimed to promote Sebootik new products ahead of Hari Raya Lebaran (Eid al-Fitr).

For the first caption, it included several key elements, such as:

1. **Situational Adaptation**: Crafted the caption to align with the Eid al-Fitr moment. Since Eid is common with new starts, releasing the latest product during Eid was seen as the perfect timing.

2. **Product Description**: Provided specific details about the promoted product, such as its materials, price, and promotion period.

3. **Sense of urgency**: Enhanced the limited-time promotion with a fun **pantun** to make it engaging and exciting.

4. **Call to Action (CTA)**: Utilized a "Shop now!" call to action, urging the audience to buy, while providing contact information for Sebootik purchases.

For the second caption, it included several key elements, such as:

1. **Soft Selling**: Integrated Lebaran style inspiration with Sebootik products without being intrusive, maintaining a soft selling approach.

2. **Engagement**: Asked a question to the audience to foster interaction and engagement.

## **Results**

* The assignments were not actually posted on Instagram. But, developing Instagram contents and captions have the potential to help business (@Sebootik) create engaging and captivating content on that platform.

* This project helped me gain a better understanding of how to design effective content for social media.

## **Project Overview**

> This project was the final assignment for the Marketing Policy and Strategy course, combining both group and individual tasks. The project's objective is to formulate a marketing strategy based on comprehensive analyses and written in the form of academic article.
>
> **Group Tasks:**
>
> * Selected a business partner to analyze their issues and propose marketing strategies.
>
> * Conducted observations of the selected business.
>
> * Interviewed the business owner or reliable sources to identify issues based on specific metrics.
>
> * Analyzed the collected data using internal-based resources, VRIN framework, and TOWS analysis.
>
> **Individual Tasks:**
>
> After completing the group tasks, every students have to formulate a strategy based on the chosen marketing metrics.

## **Project Journey:**

### **Selecting Marketing Metrics:**

I chose 'Purchase Habits' as the metrics in this project. Purchase habits involve assessing marketing performance through the frequency and quantity of purchases within a specific timeframe.

### **Choosing the Business Partner, Research Object, and Issues:**

* Business Partner: Nunu Leather, a leather-based fashion business located in Garut, operating since 2018.

* Research Object: Purchase habits of Nunu Leather's resellers.

* Issues:

  * The frequency and quantity of purchases made by Nunu Leather's resellers do not meet the owner's targets.

  * Only 55% of resellers are active buyers.

### **Formulating Strategy**

1. **Internal-Based Resources**

   Analyzed both tangible and intangible internal resources to identify what resources the company currently possesses and those it lacks.

2. **VRIN Framework**

   Compared internal resources with competitors based on four aspects: valuable, rare, inimitable, non-substitutable. Resources possessing all four aspects are categorized as Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA).

3. **TOWS Analysis**

   Used to identify external threats and opportunities, as well as internal strengths and weaknesses. The output helps determine which aspects have a high level of handling urgency.

4. **Alignment with Business Issues**

   The aspects with the highest alignment with business issues are then selected for a proposed program.

## **Proposed Program**

**A customer-tier program** through a membership system is proposed as a strategy to retain Nunu Leather's resellers while increasing purchase frequency and quantity.

**The membership program** will group resellers based on their purchasing capacity and desired benefits. Resellers will be segmented into various tiers starting from Bronze, Silver, Gold, to Platinum.

## **Impact**

* Although not immediately implemented, this strategy proposal can be considered by Nunu Leather in the future as an effort to retain resellers.

* The written format of this project has been successfully published in the Sinta 3 accredited journal (Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi dan Bisnis Unilak), providing recognition for the research's academic value.

> PT Asabri (Persero) is an Indonesian state-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) specializing in social insurance and pension disbursements for TNI, POLRI, and the Civil Servants from Ministry of Defense, TNI, and POLRI personnel.

## **Key Responsibilities**

Throughout my 6-mont internship, I actively contributed to work across 2 divisions, gaining valuable insights and experience in various aspects.

### **Administration and General Affairs**

* Conducted financial administrative activities for the company.

* Assisted in preparing insurance and pension payment accountability reports.

### **Customer Service Officer**

* Conducted the input of SPTB (Letter of Statement Identity) and client data updates.

* Managed and archived circulation documents (dosir) by uploading them to the e-dosir system.

* Served as a customer service officer.

* Validated claim submission documents and processed claim requests.

* Updated **data for 5,400+ clients** based on SPTB (Letter of Statement Identity) using an integrated service application.

## **Learning**

My 6-month internship was an extraordinary journey, especially considering it was my first experience. Managed two distinct roles wasn't easy, but it provided me with invaluable lessons in adaptability. Other than that, able to interact with a diverse range of individuals with varying needs and personalities allowed me to gain real-world insights into consumer behavior.

## **Impact**

Through my internship, I developed a strong sense of initiative and an insatiable thirst for new experiences. As a result, I took on a new challenge: **redesigning Asabri Mobile application** as my final internship project based on client feedback and needs gathered during my duty as a customer service officer.

Two roles, one dynamic journey! ✌️🚀📆

## **Overview**

> Practicum Assistance is an annual program that offers upper-level students the opportunity to mentor other students in specific course. The process involved: 
>
> * Administrative selection (with a minimum GPA of 3.20 and an A grade in the chosen course)
>
> * Conducted micro-teaching sessions in front of the lecturer
>
> * Selected as a practicum assistant.
>
> During the selection process, four individuals applied for this position, but only two were chosen to assist in two classes, and I was one of them.

## **Responsibilities**

For three months, I worked as a teaching assistant for the Business Statistics course. My responsibilities included 

1. Assisted students' in business statistics course.

2. Provided conceptual understanding through assignments.

3. Offered guidance through virtual meetings.

During the approximately 3-month period of the business statistics practicum assistance, a total of 10 topics were covered, including:

The Business Statistics Practicum primarily emphasizes comprehension through practical exercises, including solving problems with real-world examples. Questions are generated diversely using Excel's Random function, with students' last 2-digit NPM (Student ID) incorporated into the data.

Students are also required to interpret their calculations, promoting a deeper understanding of the material and encouraging a focus on the process rather than just the outcomes. This method enabling students to draw conclusions from their work.

Assignments are given a **one-week completion period**, followed by weekly Zoom meetings every Thursday to discuss them.

Students present their work, and if differences arise, we encourage open discussions. Each student discusses one question, we provide feedback, make corrections if needed, and summarize the key points.

### **What is the problem?**

Related Pouch represents a creative solution to the challenges faced by cup holder, often grappling with the inconvenience of holding beverages that are either excessively hot or cold.

### **So, what's new?**

Related Pouch equipped with **thermal aluminum foil** to effectively regulate the beverage's temperature within the cup holder, marking an innovation that is relatively uncommon in the realm of cup holder products.

Furthermore, the choice of polyester as the primary material adds the element of re-usability to the pouch.

## **My Contributions**

* I served as a co-founder, proposing the use of thermal insulation foil and conceiving the name "Related Pouch."

* I took on the role of finance manager, responsible for managing the project's financial aspects.

* Participated in all the product journey, starting from the ideas until the developments.

* Entrepreneurship (3rd semester): focused on exploring ideas, crafting business plan and prototype.

* Business start-up (4th semester): turned the prototype into a real product.
