🚀 Accra Lawtech Hangout's event last Thursday(28th November, 2024) drew over 15 industry experts from across Africa to discuss the future of law and technology in Ghana and Africa. My expectations prior to the event were moderate, yet I left with a lot of insights into the law industry and discussions on innovations around compliance and workflow.

* Catching up with a former colleague @Norbert Dziwornu of @Start OA and discussing his eye-opening work in the tech space.

The networking session provided a valuable opportunity to connect with experts and other talented individuals, learn about practical workflows, and gain insights into the expanding legal industry and the importance of collaboration with technology.

The Accra Lawtech Hangout exceeded a lot of my expectations as a community person. Kudos to the organizers @Legaltech Lounge, for pulling off such a stellar event! Thank you @Jaleela Zaman for introducing me to this awesome community.

### Next

As a passionate Product designer focused on craft in everyday solutions for businesses big and small, I am currently exploring a solution for managing contractual agreements.  I feel this event was a perfect space to draw more in-person research and connect with a great amount of young lawyers across various industries.

Partnered on one of the biggest design events in Ghana. As a Figma Community Advocate, I met so many interesting figures in the design industry and networked with the best designers and engineers in the country.

​Collaborated with a  great team to organize our first Friends of Figma in-person event in Accra, Ghana. 
This event presented an opportunity for designers, creatives, and industry professionals to come together and discuss design matters, share experiences, and network.

Accra Design Meetup

After experiencing and dealing with mental health issues around December, I decided to think about how to approach building an app that provided a safe space for patients going through such issues. I designed Safe Space as an exploration into building a solution that provided help for those struggling and in need of a solution.

Case study: Designing an android wellness app 🌱

I enjoyed working with various teams, interviewing users and interacting with a variety of stakeholders to take on this redesign.
I learnt a lot on usability testing and how to effectively  align user needs to stakeholders'.

Led redesign workshops for a pension tech company helping build two flagship digital products for their 30,000+ customers. Conducted various research processes and collaborated with board digital transformation lead to capture key company objectives in design decisions.

Onboarding redesign

Finally live. 
Led the ground-up design for the company website interacting with stakeholders, clients and team, to build an impactful company website.
After multiple stakeholder meetings and deliberations, we landed on a release that aligned with marketing and sales.

Cross Switch Ghana Website

Working as a product manager for a local pharmacy to develop a pharmaceutical retail commerce mobile application providing access to medical drugs and service for customers. With the app, customers can browse through categories, select their desired items, and pay securely with various payment options.Delivery and logistics management is also designed using service design solutions.
