About

Multi-disciplinary digital designer specializing in B2B fintech software 🏳️‍🌈

I build beautiful software to empower humans to build brighter futures for themselves and others. From product strategy to design and validation, I lead product teams through ambiguity to deliver verifiable results. I have experience designing apps for financial wellness, learning, and estate planning.

I value communication and growth. Even with 10+ years of professional design experience, there is never a shortage of new things to learn. The best way to learn is in community, and I am always happy to connect with other designers to share knowledge and provide support. Beyond my 9-5, I am a teacher/mentor, musician, and volunteer in my community.

Projects

2022

Voyant, a B2B financial planning software company, aimed to reach consumers through a fun, cross-platform tool called ClientGo. I took over design as the lead left, adapting mobile prototypes to desktop and evolving needs. We collaborated with developers to create a style guide and refine the product through usability studies. ClientGo launched in summer 2022 and integrates with Voyant's existing advisor tool, AdviserGo, for a smoother client onboarding experience. Demo here

2020

The Postage is a startup offering a platform for end-of-life planning, allowing users to securely store vital documents and schedule messages for loved ones. As the design lead, I transformed the existing web app into a user-friendly mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms. Utilizing user research from the web app's beta stage, I crafted wireframes, mockups, and oversaw the development process using Xamarin. Following multiple rounds of review and testing, the app was successfully launched in early 2021.
