Work Experience
Working in marketing at Neighbourhoodie, I was responsible for for managing marketing concerns related to our products and offerings, mainly our CouchDB consulting and Greenkeeper. This includes curating various social media channels, writing blog posts, managing marketing campaigns, and various other responsibilities. I also helped to maintain our company and product websites.
- Assumed the role of a full-time frontend developer
- Worked on maintaining and developing modern React+Redux-based applications
- Laid the groundwork for a company-wide design system
- Backported said design system to legacy Rails 4 and C++ applications
- Started an apprenticeship, but realized that it was not the right path for me
- Worked on maintaining production-scale Java applications for insurance companies
Education
I was part of the first batch of students for CODE University. However, due to multiple personal and conceptual disagreements between the university and myself, I dropped out during the second semester.
